The two complimentary courses of Equine Medicine Dilemmas part 1 and 2 are designed to help veterinarians to gain the very latest ideas on the aetiology, identification, treatment and prognosis of common medical problems in the horse and pony, and the foal. Delegates will be encouraged to interact fully with tutors in the case based open discussions.

    Specific areas to be covered in MTS Equine Medicine Dilemmas 2 include:

• Abnormalities of the blood including anaemia, clotting problems, neoplasia and autoimmune
• Problems of the respiratory tract including: chronic coughing, nasal discharge, respiratory difficulties and noises, and dealing with an infectious respiratory disease outbreak
• Poor performance including cardiology
• Problems of muscles including exertional myopathies, atypical myopathy
• Acute collapse
• Drug toxicities
• Blindness

Deze nieuwe Proveto cursus is speciaal ontwikkeld voor paardendierenartsen met interesse op het gebied van internistische problemen. MTS Equine Medicine Dilemmas bestaat uit twee delen, die losstaand van elkaar kunnen worden gevolgd. Deel 2 wordt georganiseerd op dinsdag 8 november 2016. Tijdens deze interactieve cursusdag krijgt u handvatten met daarin de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van diagnose, behandeling en prognose. Een aantal veelvoorkomende problemen bij paard en pony wordt besproken.

Door middel van de bespreking van interessante casuïstieken wordt interactief een scala van onderwerpen besproken en is er uitgebreid tijd voor discussie en vragen. Dit alles om de interactiviteit te bevorderen.

Met de praktische ervaring van het internationale sprekerspanel is een inhoudelijk interessante cursusdag gewaarborgd. U kunt zo veel actuele kennis opdoen over veelvoorkomende internistische problemen bij het paard.
